Same here. Even if I look at a gallery, it's usually only a few pics. Nice sized thumbnails help me to get a good impression of what's posted. But it's not so much my connection speed that limits my interest. Some galleries have no "theme," others are just to much to digest - too many pics - and others have poor navigation routines.
Godders' galleries are pretty much OK - not to many pics, usually themed and organized, and quick to get into and easy to navigate.
