On a related note - in my daily job I wear a Domke photo vest, have done
now for half-a dozen years - although not the same one! They wear, and I
replace about once every 18 months or so (I have a few new ones on stand-
by). The one thing I hate most is the main side pockets are
Velcronified ;-)  and that's a show-stopper for me. I constantly reach
in those pockets for a radio mic, phone, headphones, batteries, bits and
bobs, and if I peeled the Velcro during a press conference or quiet
interview, my name would be mud. Hence, whenever I unpack a new one, I
get the sewing kit out and unpick the hooks part of the Velcro and take
them off.

Can you find a different way to secure the flap of the 7 Mil?

I'm still in love with the F-803  :-)
