Minolta MD mount can only be adapted to 4/3rds bodies due to excessively 
short register (around 43mm to K mount's 45.5mm).

The only lenses other than K or M42 that can readily be used on K mount 
bodies are Nikon F mount lenses (Which has a slightly longer register 
and a mount which is physically very similar to K mount, some lenses can 
even be locked in to K mount).
