When it gets to that point I read a book, take a walk, or get a glass of
Pinot Boir or Malbec and sit outside communing with the stars.

Quite frankly I have very fond memories of playing scratched 33 1/3 Beatles
LP's on a portable stereophonic Zenith record changer with built-in speakers
on the bedroom floor.

Most of us have an exquisite filter that just follows our eyes and ears in
the sensory train. It's called a brain. This clever little device
magically seems to clean up hisses, pops, snow, static, etc., so that we
continue enjoying what we see and hear despite any momentary imperfections
in it's reproduction.
