pretty simple, really. It's a result of the greed of the agribusiness conglomerates who don't give a shit about food quality and only care about profit. These are the same people who are force-feeding you in America with equal quantities of shit food and black propaganda. Fortunately our consumer lobby is strong enough to recognise a problem when it bites them on the arse, and to do something about it.
