M and K lenses don't have A settings. I use green button manual mode most often with my Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 macro, which is mechanically the same as a K lens. I also use it with the K-series 85/1.8 and K 28/3.5 fairly often. I may be adjusting the shutter speed after looking at the histogram and display. When I'm shooting, I'm not always conscious of such things. It's all sort of rote. I know I shoot nearly wide open with the 85 and the 28 most of the time, but I generally shoot at f11 with the macro. Anyway, I'll give them a try again and see what's up. > > http://homepage.mac.com/godders/PentaxK10D_1.20fw_metertest.jpg > > You can see that the CW and Spot settings on stop-down mode tend to > go to overexposure, but it's fairly predictable. > > G > > > On Apr 29, 2007, at 9:11 PM, Bob Rapp wrote: > >> Anything new with regards to exposure errors when using K and M >> lenses in >> manual using the green button? >> >> Bob >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "Godfrey DiGiorgi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> To: "Pentax-Discuss Mail List" <[email protected]> >> Sent: Monday, April 30, 2007 1:13 PM >> Subject: Re: Firmware 1.10 >> >> >> Remember that the K10D's 1.10 update incited second curtain sync and >> possibly wireless remote flash issues. >> >> I have v1.20 installed now.
