Might be a little more effective if the color were desaturated a touch or rendered to monochrome, but I like it as is too. He looks like he is trudging home through a blizzard after a long day at the factory, knowing that there is just a bowl of cold thin gruel awaiting when he gets there because the heat got cut off because they had to choose between heat and medicine to save the life of baby Bird. A very sad life for Mr. Bird. No happiness. No songs. I think Tim has made some very good choices here regarding the level of saturation, I think a little less saturation in the seaweed or whatever it is in the foreground would improve the picture by making it even more depressing.
