Thanks all for the replies.

I finally got it going about 2 hours later.
Not sure if this was the fix, but i finally cut all power to it, left
it like that for 10 minutes, then plugged it all back in.

Then it was fine.

Also i had removed the internet cable for use of the mac. Maybe that
was causing something.

Any way, i was able to print off my order and back up last weekends stuff.

I'll keep an eye on it, for anymore strange behaviour, but the SO does
not like the thought of getting a new computer.No job and all, but i
need something to do my edits and  orders.

I told her a new imac will be cheaper than what i paid for the MDG
clone. Got a no response, which I THINK is good.
