The way I see it is that since the introduction of their
DSLRs, Pentax has broken away with caring one iota about
compatibility with legacy products like they always did
in the past. They could very easily put out a new FF DSLR
that DOESNT USE DA lenses under their new mantra, and 
develop/sell new full frame "digital optimized" lens line just for
all the new current and future FF DSLRS. Even so, I dont think
there would be any problem using DA lenses on these FF DSLR bodies, they
would
just have to crop the sensor recording and put some crop lines
in the finder to make them fully usable as the DA lenses were
designed to be. Cant complain about that, they are only APS lensees
and everybody knew that before they bought them.
