I think this is a re-banded Comapct Drive. I've been using the
Compactdrive PD70x for several months now and it's been great.
Advantages are that it runs off rechargeable AA batteries (I've never
had them die in the fireld but if they do I have backups), its very fast
with card transfers (assuming the Hyperdrive is a PD70 clone) and it has
a very well thought out display. I really like the durable LCD display -
after the card transfers it displays either a smilie face of a frowny
face indicating a good or bad transfer. (I would of opted for a thumbs
up or thumbs down icon, but what the heck.) The transfer success
indicator lasts till you power off the drive, even though the drive
powers down everything else. It's great for unattended card transfers.

the price sounds really high though - I paid just over $20 USD for an 80
gig model a while back. I bought from www.mydigitaldiscount.com - you
might want to check them out.
