In anticipation of many future models of Pentax DSLRs I was wondering what you all think would be good improvements compared to the models you have used so far?
I have only used the istDS but I would like to see ( not necessarily in any order of desire) : 1. Full Frame Sensor 2. Ability to optionally lockout shutter button after each exposure with K/M lenses until new meter reading is taken (until #3 is implemented). 2. Full Pentax K/M lens support ( open aperture metering with conventional metered manual / continuous AE ) 3. Disable shutter without memory card (unless #4 is implemented) 4. Some reasonable built in memory so at least some photos can be taken without a memory card. 5. Much Higher Resolution ( 20Mp or more, especially if FF sensored ) 6. Ability to do CA and geometery corrections on the fly in camera ( via custom settings ) This would slow down writing speed as it would probably require a RAW conversion to 16bit TIFF but I think it would be a good optional tradeoff. 7. Global Metering sensitivity adjustment in a buried menu 8. AF adjustment in a menu 9. More focussing screens available. Probably many many more, those are just off the top of my head...
