Oh, so you don't care about SR? Why is that Boris?
It sounds good to be able to gain at least 2 stops in low light
circumstances...maybe it is because, in the field, it doesn't work as promised?
Or you don't notice it that much?

I always though about in-body IS as a big plus of the Pentax system...

Jaume

Asunto: Re: Any one regret upgrading to the K10D?

Paul, it is not a simple question.

My answer is 1/2 yes and 1/2 no.

1/2 yes, because
1. My *istD was smaller and lighter
2. I don't need certain amount of bells and whistles of K10D has that
incur size and weight penalties.

1/2 no, because
1. K10D produces stunning images
2. K10D does have some features that *istD could have had.

In general, if Pentax could produce a camera of size and weight of *istD
with K10D sensor, AF system, operational modes and weather sealing - I'd
be a happy chap. I could live without SR, fancy battery, bigger screen,
probably some other things that don't pop up in my mind right now...

Hope it satisfies your curiosity ;-).

Cheers.

Boris
