The impression that I've gotten is that this is the beginning of a general upgrading of the MZ/ZX line, at least with respect to features.
Being consistent with other terminology: MZ-S == Super MZ-L == Luxury (prediction here) MZ-I == Intermediate MZ-M == Manual, basic model Given the term MZ-L, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see a streamlining of warranty & maintenance programs by dropping the ZX designation. This would allow them to isolate products by serial numbers as opposed to appearance, and have a single production line for the package. They could save a bundle. I see Pentax as needing just one thing to make it boom: Money. They're privately held. An IPO would bring an influx of cash resources and can move this very capable company back into the leadership position it once proudly held. So, anyone got a quarter? :) My 2 cents, Collin - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
