I totally lucked out on my FA200/4 Macro.
I got home from GFM a couple of years ago with the idea of aquiring one
fairly high on my list of wanted lenses.
I think Tom Reeses has one, and spoke very highly of it.
Anyway, my local dealer got involved in the search, they got the Regional
Pentax rep involved, and eventually they found one in a rep's kit from
somewhere in the USA.
It was shipped to Canada, where PCI did a refurbish on it and sent it on to
my local store for pickup.
I think I paid less than Can$1400.00 for it as well.
I recall that I had budgeted about double what I ended up paying, and so
decided that I could afford an A600/5.6 that came up on eBay shortly
thereafter.
It was a good year.
