Folks, I've got a trial copy of Lightroom installed, and it has me pondering the best way to organize my burgeoning photo files.
The setup is: A G5 iMac with 14 gig left on its 75 gig hard disk, and an external 250 gig hard disk that is only 1/3 full. I originally planned to make the iMac drive my primary photo drive, and move things for archiving and backup to the external disk periodically. Now the files are piling up so fast that seems impractical. Any reason not to use the external hard drive as my primary photo location, and maybe use the internal drive for backups (on their way to DVDs)? Any input appreciated. It was easier to file slides...
