This is what I do (sort of); DL to internal drive, copy to network drive, when internal drive has a DVD worth of accumulated files I burn a disc and then delete the files on the internal drive. I do however also periodically clone the network drive to an external drive in order to dampen my paranoia ;-) An interesting read: Google's Disk Failure Experience http://storagemojo.com/?p=378 -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://picasaweb.google.com/distudio/PESO http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
