This is what I do (sort of); DL to internal drive, copy to network
drive, when internal drive has  a DVD worth of accumulated files I
burn a disc and then delete the files on the internal drive. I do
however also periodically clone the network drive to an external drive
in order to dampen my paranoia ;-)
