They are still catering to a price sensitive market. If they release a 
camera that is not competing on price in the marketplace, compatability 
support might be fixed. Unfortunately, price sensitivity only matters to the 
0.1% of their market, the rest of us go out of our way to make the company 
as unprofitable as possible.
