What I've found from "fixing" things in Photoshop is that in many cases
that I've learned specifically *what* is wrong with an image by noting
what I had to do to correct it. Then I can apply this knowledge to my
shooting in the future to avoid the *need* for Photoshop corrections.
Sometimes the things to be learned are quite subtle, and yet have
profound effects.

So, used as a learning tool, "fixing it in Photoshop" can be a valuable
way of preventing the need for Photoshop fixes in the future.

That said, none of this really applies to this specific case, which is
a simple matter of framing. You just look at it and say "Gee, I think
I'd frame this to show more of the bottom of the mug" and move on. I
imagine the mug will still be available for a re-shoot tomorrow if
desired :)
