Dave, if you want something to try in the meantime, go to Filter (Elements 5, in my case) and click on Correct Camera Distortion. You'll get a grid and a ladder of sliders down the right side. I was in the Filters menu in the process of reducing a bit of noise in a coastal shot which included a slightly leaning lighthouse to one side. Only took a couple moments of slider nudging to be successful. The additional layers did, however, increased the file size from 58MB to 114MB. (was a scanned image).
