I hadn't done any of the tutorials before last November and found it  
good too, but just before my trip I found the video tutorials done by  
Michael Tapes (rawworkflow.com). A half hour or so invested there  
expanded my understanding by a great deal. Within a week Lightroom  
had become the basis of my image processing workflow.

It's operation did mate well with my already established workflow as  
well. I've not had any performance problems on the Apple G4 and G5  
systems I'm running it on, even though they are well behind the  
leading edge of the new Apple systems based on the Intel cpu.
