Yikes! I didn't notice that "obvious line" in my haste to get this posted. Like everyone else, I like the first one as well. Dave, I like your conversion. Learning to do a good b&w conversion is a priority now. I've softened that horrible edge around Charlie: http://tinyurl.com/2xmfns Noticeably better? Bruce, I didn't really "choose" the tight framing. Both shots are full-frame. I just chose to shoot it that way - at the time it's what worked. Or, should I say, I shot about 6 or 10 of him, and that one (which was just sort of "fooling around") looked strongest to me when I was going through them. It really seemed to reflect Charlie's personality.
