The 1270 and 1280 use dye-based inks, and ColorLife paper is designed for
use with dye-based inks. It was formulated to reduce the gas-fastness
problems with the Epson "lightfast" inks used in the 1270/80/90 and others.

The equivalent paper for pigment inks is "Archival Matte", which William is
already using on his new (pigment ink based) Epson C80.
