One thing to keep in mind, however, is that mister Epson printer will be doing this interpolation on its own to a certain extent, and we can make its life easier by making the actual resolution of the file a divisor of the printer's resolution. I did a test the other day. A customer had supplied a CD with an 8x10 at 300ppi on it. The print we made showed an obvious moire pattern in the fine texture of the subject's cotton shirt that was not apparent in the file. Re-sizing the image to 360ppi and reprinting eliminated the problem. This was with our Epson Stylus Pro 7500, which is basically just a giant 2000P. -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
