You're not, but at times you'd think you were. I know that when I use a film
camera where other people are using cameras, I'm usually (read 99% of the
time) the only film user. I also don't particularly like the comments that
some folk make about 'updating to digital' to me as though I'd never heard
of such a thing and or imagined film might be a choice for me. Or maybe it
is that unusual now?

A real dinosaur user of slide film; yet I love the wait for my processed
film to return. At the same time I love my *ist D as a replacement for
colour print film and the million and one other uses I'm sure I said I'd
never use it for - and have and never regretted.

There is still one film camera I'd like, but strangely in this digital
world, prices of film cameras haven't plunged to nothing yet by some way.
I'd also like a K10D - but other than 'would like one', I can't think of a
convincing reason to get one, although I suspect the K10D will slip in price
first!

So here we are in the latter part of 2007 and still film and digital have a
home here. I suspect how long it remains so will be more down to supply and
cost of slide film.
