I have had the Optio W10 now for about a year and quite like it. It is not too big, has NO protruding lens (zooming is internal). Quality is fine, it can do some things my K10D can't :-) It is 6 megapixels which is more than I need really, and does cause it to suffer a bit from noise if there is little light. However, being small and easy to take, makes up for that, together with it being water-proof of course. The current model is the 8Mp W30 I think, and there is also an older 7Mp W20 and 5Mp WP if I remember correctly. All are similar in use, the latest ones with a bit more bells and whistles and further improved water-proofing ... Regards, JvW PS: Several shots from it (by my SO) have appeared in the PUG ... ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jan van Wijk; http://www.dfsee.com/gallery -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
