You must be cursed! I'm currently the owner of 3 Epson printers - The original Stylus Photo (going on 10 years old), 2000P (around 4 years old) & a recent R220 (a little more than 1 yr old) all continue to produce prints & text flawlessly. I shut them all off @ the printer & use only Epson products in them. I have only had to clean the two older printers occasionally.
