The La Crosse BC-900 charger comes bundled with a set of C/D to AA
adapters. Looking though my local suppliers catalogues only older
style low capacity C/D rechargeable seem to be available these readily
days There appear to be 9000mAh Ni-MH D cells from Sanyo, I guess they
are providing similar energy density to the current top end Ni-MH AA
cells.
