My bout of middle aged crazy was trying to piece together what would have
been my "dream kit" from when I was in my late teens.
Thanks to eBay, I was able to replace my Nikon F2s and 50mm/1.4 fairly
easily. The F2 even came with a 35mm/3.5. I then set about looking, and
found an 85/1.8.
I then set about looking for a 105/2.5 and found a nice one.
I would have liked a 35/2, but so it goes. My Nikon kit is complete, with
all lenses being contemporaneous with the camera.
I even have some Kodachrome from that era in the deep freeze.....
