Interesting observations Mark. I noticed on thing, when i tersted out the K10D back in January. We had an unusual warm spell then and my grass was still green, so i did the CWB off the grass, with and without filter in place. The filter on gave me the brownish tinge as in your R72 sample, while the same setting on the istD produces the magenta type cast.
AWB does give me that deep red cast aswell on the ist D. I find my settinghs are iso 400 and Av around F 4-5.6 at 1/3 second or so. Its a nice sunny day today. I think i'll go for a drive.:-) Dave On 8/27/07, Mark Cassino <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'm back after several days without internet or cable TV, courtesy of > the storms and tornadoes that went ripping through here last week. > > I spent the down time thinking up cryptic email subjects, like the one > above. > > But - I did actually pick up an R72 IR filter today and ran it through > some head to head comparisons vs the RM90 on the *ist-D.
