Dave, The idea about asian restaurants and cats (or dogs) was passed to me some 30 years ago in the Netherlands. American friends living there politely declined to go out to eat at those restaurants...something about having puppies in the window and dog on the menu. (That ought to stir up all the dog lovers!)
