I found there was a hiccup opening Pentaxian.com this morning on Mac
OS X using either Safari or FireFox browsers. It seemed to work
yesterday but would only get to the page saying that it needs a flash
plugin v9 and javascript enabled.

I went to the link provided,
   <http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer>
downloaded and installed the latest flash player. When I reopened
Safari, it still wouldn't run.

A check using Safari's "Help->Installed Plug-Ins" menu command showed
that flash player v9.0 r19 was being loaded from "Flash Player
Enabler.plugin" and flash player v9.0 r47 was being loaded from
"Flash Player.plugin". That means the Adobe installer for the flash
plugin didn't remove the old version.

This is stored in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins on Mac OS X. I went to
that directory and deleted the file "Flash Player Enabler.plugin",
restarted Safari. Now the "Help->Installed Plug-Ins" command shows
only one flash player, v9.0 r47, and the Pentaxian.com web pages work
correctly.

I imagine that a similar problem can exist on Windows systems,
although the exact location of the file supplying the flash player I
do not know. It's an easy fix, although still annoying that you have
to do it.
