Thanks Charles. It's the DA 50-200. Generally, that lens displays nice bokeh. 
The problem here is the distance between subject and background, coupled with 
some extreme highlights popping in between the leaves. A faster lens would have 
helped as well in that I could have used a wider stop. Actually, his eyes are 
quite sharp, even at 100%. However, the DOF doesn't extend fully to the guitar.
