I think we were asking the same "when" question when Canon and Nikon digital SLRs were catching the headlines and Pentax were still in the vapourware zone (and pushing out more variants of the MZ line). Then the *istD series came along.
I, for one, am more than happy to have caught 10s of 1000s of APS RAWs since then, many of which I am certain I wouldn't have had a hope of catching as well with my old full frame celluloid cams. I am sure when full frame digital comes along, this wait will also be just a wistful memory, not a therapy session. D J. C.
