Equipment: Pentax *ist-Ds/Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f2.8~4.0 VMC Macro Focusing Zoom Note: So far the *ist-Ds has loved this lens. It handles well, hits the exposure almost dead on just about every time producing very easy to manipulate raw files. I've been playing with this lens using flash and I've come to a couple of surprising conclusions which I will probably write up eventually. Disclaimer: This is primarily a test of the lens, I haven't been trying to make high art, just get good exposures and reasonable focus with a variety of subjects. I'd like to know if I succeed but my standards for these are relatively low. On the other hand some thought that the last flower shot lacked punch, so this one I've punched up quite a bit. (I didn't revise "Blue" because I liked it the way it was).
