Yikes! Oiling is the *last* thing that you should do to a shutter! Gives the
same effect as oil on lens diaphragm blades: Makes it stick.

Nope. Shutter probably needs adjustment. A regular CLA (Cleaning, Lubrication -
of the camera as a whole, not the shutter! - and Adjustment) should take care of
it.
