OK, now this is really wierd, the local rep at the shop I frequent called Kodak to ask them this question, and they denied it - they say that the T400CN is still in full production with the B&W Select being the consumer film and the Portra B&W being the professional film that are designed to print on color paper, and the T400CN being their C-41 film that is designed for printing on B&W Paper.
