A few months ago (February 28, 2007 to be precise) I ordered two DA* lenses from Adorama. I won't recap the whole on-again off-again business of when Pentax would actually really no kidding have the lenses ready for distribution; suffice it to say that in mid August the lenses hit the stores. Not too long after that I received a lovely DA* 50-135/2.8. Since I had already completed my trips to Venice, California, and northern Michigan for which I wanted the lenses, I was willing to wait patiently for the second lens. But yesterday evening I was wandering cleaning up bookmarks on my browser, noticed the Adorama bookmark, and decided to look to see if there was any indication as to when the second lens might show up. So I checked my account. And found that they had cancelled my order at the end of August.
After sending them a nasty note to add to their circular bit-bucket, I did a quick Google search, found the lens, ordered it through Amazon, and a DA*16-50/2.8 was shipped to me today.
