No, Avro also made a flying saucer as part of a test program in the 1950's.. The Arrow was the CF-105, Canada's mach II interceptor program (An aircraft similar to the XF-107, except it got a lot closer to production). It was killed due to being overbudget, a pet project of the wrong party after a change in government and pressure from the Pentagon to adopt the Bomarc missile project instead of manned interceptors.
