No, Avro also made a flying saucer as part of a test program in the 1950's..
The Arrow was the CF-105, Canada's mach II interceptor program (An aircraft
similar to the XF-107, except it got a lot closer to production). It was
killed due to being overbudget, a pet project of the wrong party after a
change in government and pressure from the Pentagon to adopt the Bomarc
missile project instead of manned interceptors.

Much of the Arrow design team ended up at NASA working on the Apollo
project.
