You can write a macro (Photoshop calls them "Actions" that will batch process images down to thumbnails. This is how I make the PUG thumbnails. If you like, I can send you the action set that I use for the PUG. It is only a few kb. Jan van Wijc showed me this. He also wrote me a cool little thing that will modify the names of the files so they can be identified as thumbnails in the index page. Thanks Jan!!! For web pages, I find modifying a template in a text editor is the simplest method of doing an image gallery if the pages are to be all the same, with just an image and text switch.
