Huh? I don't know what you  mean.

Okay, I am going to conclude that  both the KatsEye and the Pentax 
replacement screens flash when the camera auto  focuses.

On the Canon, this is not true. While one can have the auto  focus points on 
the screen, they will not flash anymore.
