If you want the curvilinear rendering of a fish-eye, the 10-17 is  
quite nice.

I use it occasionally for a change of pace. It's not too bulky. One

Whew, that's an awful lot of gear to truck around for "a couple of  
days in nyc".

My last trip there I carried the Panny L1 and just the 14-50 standard  
lens. Got *tons* of photos with it. My next trip there I will likely  
carry the K10D and just the 21 and 43. Less is more...
