My information is that for whatever reason Phillips is not producing the chip. (a but? is that the Contax N1 Digital is listed in the new, arrived yesterday, B&H PhotoVideo catalog). However, Pentax is supposed to be busy working on a new MZ-S based digital. From the best I could find out it will be in the Canon D-30 class. There continue to be planes to eventually bring out a full frame digital, but it is delayed indefinately.
