It's a business decision, not a matter of beliefs or ethics. I  
participate because I agreed to participate prior to the creation of  
the voting business and because I feel there is some benefit in  
having my work shown in the gallery.

However, I've told those who run the PPG that I disagree with the  
voting process and the way submissions are handled now. I've also  
told them that the submission process is too time consuming and more  
work than it needs/ought to be given the positive return potential to  
the photographer, and that I don't feel comfortable judging other  
people's work.

As a result, I submit work occasionally, when I have the time, and I  
don't bitch about what is or isn't declined. I don't vote on others'  
work, that is beyond my personal comfort zone. What's up there, and  
what gets added, I'm happy offer for both Pentax' benefit and mine.
