not really based on an MX apart from the shape maybe, but as most M? cameras, MV1 was an auto-aperture only camera, as well as MV ME and MG. Of course those all had electronic shutter but B and X-speed which were mechanical if I'm not mistaken.
In fact I never understood why Pentax made so many very similar cameras.
