Every time I read a comment like that about Live View, I shake my  
head. It has proven to be a feature on my L1 that I use constantly  
for a whole range of things I never thought about. I won't buy  
another DSLR without it, period.

The D300 is a fine camera. So is the E-3. So is the K10D ...  
hopefully the K20D or whatever they call it will come up to the  
standards of build materials and quality, and buffer space/speed,  
that the E-3 and D300 are providing. I have very high quality Pentax  
lenses that would make a better body happy...
