I think the answer to the DOF issue is f64 with tilts and swings to 
modify the plane of focus.  Hey, to duplicate the AOV of a 15mm lens on 
a 1.5x crop (aps-c), camera would only require an 86mm lens. (I knew my 
damned Angle of view calculator would come in handy for something.).  
I'm sure there's such a beast out there somewhere...
