Sadly, the guy who owns the studio is in the habit of buying whatever Office Depot is getting rid of, and at the moment, Vista seems to be what they want to sell. I've almost got him talked into buying custom builds, based on the performance difference between what he just bought and what I just bought for my own use. Granted, what I bought was probably 3 times more money.... Thanks for not suggesting installing another OS, though personally I'd wipe Vista and install XP Pro instead. I have done enough research to know that Linux won't do the job, I'm not interested in learning a new OS anyway, and whatever we use absolutely has to support PhotoShop, which Im pretty sure means either MS or Mac. Unfortunately, around here, Mac offers really poor user support, and less than stellar bang for the buck.
