Mike,

I already bought it, so I'm set on using it (no belligerence, honest!)...

Actually, I like the Agfa film, it was recommended for fine grain and has proven to be
so. I read that the Microdol also produces a very fine grain, so I thought I'd try
it. I'm developing my own after a l-o-n-g absence, and want to find a combination I
like. This seemed like a good place to start. I also have some D-76 that I plan to
try. My camera store did not have any Rodinal (that Shel recommends), so I may order
some through B&H. Once I settle on a combination here, I want to experiment with a
400 ISO film combination to standardize on that.

Any comments or input? I'm open to anything that my budget allows. I like fine
grain, but many here have disparaged the T-grain films.

How come you're set on this particular combination, if you haven't tried it
and (apparently) haven't had it recommended to you by someone who uses it?

I'm not trying to be belligerent (honest), just curious.
