Thanks, Aaron, I wasn't sure if you were pulling my leg...(rubbing alcohol?)

I've heard that Ctein, the well-known printer, is fond of Xtol.  I wonder how APX 
would do in that.

He was a former employee here.  His employee-of-the-month photograph was 
of him drinking from a bottle of rubbing alcohol. ;)

He was, however, a fabulous b&w processor and printer.  Also a great 
chemical evangelist -- you knew that Dan had been talking something up 
when all of a sudden there was a run on a specific developer.

Mooshy is in the eye of the beholder.  Also, the nice thing about 
Agfapan and Microdol is that Agfapan is a pretty un-mooshy film to begin 
with, so done right they can really complement each other.  I wouldn't 
call Dan's prints mooshy (tho' they were mostly 645).
